Adam Relf and Ned Woodman are gaining a fast reputation for producing harsh rhythms, grimey basslines, conscious lyrics and infectious melodies. Having met at art school it wasn't long before the two housemates decided that their mutual love for music could have creative possibilities. The two started to write together. Adam bringing to the table his song writing sensibilities and heavy musical influences, which ranged from Radiohead to the composer Danny Elfman and Ned, who had been Dj'ing hardcore since he was fourteen and had a vast knowledge of dance music. Fast forward a few years, with major support from Radio 1's Annie Nightingale and Breakbeat stalwarts the Freestylers amongst others, the two friends are going from strength to strength. While always firmly aimed at the dance floor, their completely different musical influences always make for interesting listening. This coupled with their backgrounds in illustration make them a formidable creative force and an exciting prospect for anyone after a bit more from their dance music.
